Xasteria+ aims to provide users with comprehensive access to various weather forecasts and tools tailored for individuals with an interest in observing the night sky.

This premium version integrates Apple Weather and MET Norway as new weather sources, enhancing the existing Xasteria app with additional features. Notably, the creation of Xasteria+ was primarily to support the 7Timer weather forecast servers. Consider exploring the free Xasteria app first, which is ad-free, to experience its functionalities. Should you find it beneficial, opting for Xasteria+ unlocks a range of supplementary features:

 <li>Configurable hourly/hyperlocal world forecast from Apple Weather.</li>
 <li>Configurable hourly world forecast from MET Norway with a cloud layer option.</li>
 <li>Night-vision mode (red/green/blue) with brightness control.</li>
 <li>Lunar Calendar featuring Sun/Moon graphs, rise/set/twilight timings.</li>
 <li>Location Manager allowing various location sources selection (online search, offline database, maps), access to GPS accuracy/elevation, and barometer data (for compatible iPhones/iPads).</li>
 <li>Landscape display mode extending to iPhone/iPod.</li>
</ul>

Similar to the free version, Xasteria+ offers a customizable world forecast sourced from ASTRO/7Timer service encompassing:

 <li>Atmospheric transparency.</li>
 <li>Temperature & Humidity.</li>
 <li>Rain/Snow prediction.</li>

Incorporating Apple Weather and MET Norway forecasts introduces visibility, dew point, and other crucial information. Users can choose among three visualization modes: an icon/graphic display based on ASTRO from 7Timer, color-stripe graphics akin to other astro-forecast services, and a raw text mode.

Notable additional features include:

 <li>Direct access to various astro-weather web sources such as Clear Outside, Meteoblue, Windy, Astrospheric, Sat24.com; latest water vapor satellite images; closest Clear Sky Charts.</li>
 <li>Light pollution reports/maps for your location.</li>
 <li>ISS and bright satellite passes tracking for your location (data sourced from heavens-above.com).</li>
</ul>
